[DRAFT] Translation of the Japanese policy; it needs a legal review before launch. The Japanese version prevails.
Victory International School (“the School”) takes care of the personal information of everyone using this website (victoryis.jp). This page explains how the School handles the personal information it receives.
Information we receive
When you use the contact form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, your child’s age and your message. When you contact us through our LINE Official Account, we likewise receive what you send us there.
How we use it
We use it only to answer your inquiry, to tell you about joining or trial lessons, and for other necessary communication from the School — never beyond these purposes.
Sharing with third parties
We never give personal information to third parties without your consent, except where the law requires it.
External services
- Contact form — we use WPForms (a WordPress plugin). What you send reaches the School by email.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — [DRAFT] the contact form uses Turnstile by Cloudflare, Inc. to block spam. When the form is shown and sent, your IP address and browser information are sent to Cloudflare.
- LINE — the image of the “Add friend” button loads from LY Corporation’s servers (scdn.line-apps.com), which receive your IP address and similar information.
- Instagram — the video on School Activities does not connect to Meta’s servers until you press play. Then Instagram’s embedded content loads and Meta’s privacy policy applies.
- Google Maps — we don’t embed a map, we only link to Google Maps; Google’s privacy policy applies there.
- Fonts — this site serves its web fonts from the School’s own server and connects to no external font service.
Cookies
This site may use cookies to understand how it is used and to improve how it displays. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings.
Keeping information safe
The School takes appropriate measures to prevent personal information from being leaked, lost or altered.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change without notice when laws or our practices change. Changes take effect when they are published on this page.
